On Friday, a corporate team from the United Arab Emirates met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, to examine the potential of a number of different industries in Pakistan.
The member of the ruling family of the United Arab Emirates known as Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook al Maktoum led the mission that investigated potential business prospects in the commerce, port, and shipping industries of Pakistan.
Sheikh Ahmed has stated that he will be returning to Pakistan in fewer than two months in order to provide more impetus to the UAE’s investment in Pakistan.
Sharif promised full government assistance.
Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum’s Private Office manages a portfolio of privately held groups of enterprises with a concentration on infrastructure, energy, and agriculture.
Prime Minister Sharif gave his word that investors from the UAE will receive the maximum amount of government assistance available.
In addition to other high-ranking officials, the federal minister for finance and revenue of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, as well as the minister for marine affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Sabzwari, as well as special advisors Dr. Jehanzeb Khan and Syed Tariq Fatemi, were present at the meeting.
In addition, the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador to Pakistan, Hammad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi, was present during the meeting.
