The New Jersey location of Surf Taco, famous for its blend of Mexican and Californian cuisine, just closed.
Five separate Surf Taco restaurants in the state of New Jersey have closed since 2020. The others were in Hoboken, New Jersey; Princeton, New Jersey; and Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island.
The Jackson restaurant said “Thank you for 17 years!” on its Facebook page. We first welcomed customers in April of 2006 at Surf Taco Jackson, and the locals have been nothing but supportive ever since. We’d want to thank you once again for all of your help throughout the years.
The Jackson Township eatery closed for good on April 23. At 21 Hope Chapel Road, you’ll find it.
There is now one location in Jupiter, Florida, and eight more in the state of New Jersey that serve the popular Surf Taco.
This chain eatery serves a variety of Mexican dishes in addition to the usual chicken tenders, nachos, and fries.
